LIVE WEBCHAT WITH CHRIS HOY
Live video webcast
Live video webcast and Highland Spring have a long-standing relationship with Olympic track cyclist Chris Hoy, and to celebrate his success during 2012 they temporarily renamed their water to 'Hoyland Spring' in his honour.
As part of their promotional effort, Highland Spring came to The Relations Group asking us to produce, broadcast and secure third-party coverage for a live webcast featuring Chris answering both live and pre-arranged questions from viewers.
As an interactive event, a live broadcast offers brands the opportunity to engage directly with the public as well as using the live event as a platform for media coverage in its own right.
Highlights of the campaign include coverage of the webcast on news and sports websites in advance of the live broadcast, and a significant amount was also achieved with an on-demand video available afterwards. Sites covering the webcast include The Huffington Post, Bake Radar, Scotsman.com, Manchester Evening News, Birmingham Mail, and London 24. The webcast was broadcast to a total of over 13 million monthly users.
