ALLINSON SERVES UP A SLICE OF VICTORIAN LIVING WITH NATIONAL TRUST
Allinson’s Bread wanted to raise awareness of their product by celebrating the 100th anniversary of the well known Thomas Allinson Winifred Pudding, whilst also highlight the fact that a number of National Trust sites would be serving the dish in celebration of the anniversary.
To do this, Allinson Bread utilised a day of radio interviews using Caroline Yeldham, a celebrated food historian, as their spokesperson. Caroline was able to discuss the resurgence of interest in the Victorian era, how far food has come since then and could give more information about the Thomas Allinson Winifred pudding.
The campaign was hugely successful, securing coverage on 10 BBC stations including BBC Radio Southern Counties, BBC Radio Devon and BBC Radio Norfolk.
