SMALL BUSINESS ADVICE WEEK 2012​

​Mission
Groupon wanted to position themselves as experts in local commerce and an advisor to support SME’s, so they used Small Business Advice Week, a platform managed by The Relations Group, as the perfect opportunity to achieve this.

Richard Jones, MD of Groupon UK, used radio interviews and a live webcast, along with Peter Dickson, a small business owner, who we also know as the voice over man of X Factor and Britain's Got Talent, to pick apart research commissioned by Groupon looking into the importance of social media in business.

Richard was able to discuss the stress placed on small businesses and how they can fully embrace the realms of social media marketing to help growth.

Coverage highlights included BBC Radio Northampton, BFBS, Cool FM, Big City Radio, and Downtown Radio.
Campaign in Numbers
Groupon secured a reach of 5,077,000 listeners with 4 hours 48 minutes worth of coverage.
Groupon’s campaign secured a total of 49 items of radio coverage & 4 items of online coverage up and down the UK.
