TITAN TRAVEL INFOGRAPHIC

Radio Interviews, Competitions and Infographic

Mission
To celebrate 2014 being the 35th Anniversary of Titan Travel, they wanted to position themselves as the leading adventurous travel provider by discussing new research into the different types of travellers and destinations.

The research surprisingly revealed that ‘mature holidaymakers’, over the age of 55, are now the most widely travelled age group and the most adventurous in their choice of destination, choosing exotic long haul destinations over the ever popular ‘staycation’.

Hugh Clayson, a travel expert from Titan Travel, was able to discuss the research in more detail and compare the differences in holiday destinations from the 1970’s (when Titan was established) to now considering what the future holds for the travel market - including space tourism!

In order to maximise the campaigns reach, the budget was split between radio interviews, a digital infographic comparing changing travel trends over the years and editorial competitions with the prize being a Samsung compact digital camera with 18x optical zoom and 3.0 inch LCD.

The interviews were a huge success; Hugh’s wealth of knowledge made for an engaging interview due to his personal travel experiences. Stations were also extremely impressed with the competitions thanks to such a desirable prize. In fact, the Clyde network ran the prize for around 8 weeks!

This large campaign reached national, major and leading radio stations including BBC Radio Norfolk, BBC Radio Tees, Brighton's Juice and Gem 106, with the digital coverage reaching major news outlets such as Cheap Flights, Now Magazine and the Economic Voice.

Campaign in Numbers
Titan Travel secured a reach of 11.2 million listeners with 3 hours and 13 minutes worth of coverage.
Titan Travel’s campaign secured a total of 37 Items of Coverage up and down the UK.
