Awareness of Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) and the charity DEBRA remains low due to the rarity and misdiagnosis of the condition. Many living with EB may be unaware of their diagnosis or of DEBRA’s vital support. Working with DEBRA, we amplified national understanding—among the public and healthcare professionals—of EB’s impact and DEBRA’s critical role. With the backing of Graeme Souness, the campaign drove recognition, encouraged accurate diagnosis, highlighted specialist NHS centres, and supported DEBRA’s mission to accelerate treatments and recruit new members to champion the cause.
