Traditional school uniforms can restrict movement, limiting children’s ability to play—especially girls—and hindering their physical and mental well-being. We partnered with The Active Uniform Alliance to highlight the need for reform, supported by new research we initiated, which revealed that nearly 3 in 4 people (72%) believe an “always-active” uniform is more appropriate than a smart office-style one. Timed to resonate with educators and parents, the campaign called on 1,000 primary schools to adopt movement-friendly policies, promoting play, inclusion, and healthier school experiences for all children.
