Many grassroots athletes and their families are unaware of the cumulative risks of head impacts in contact sports and often lack access to elite-level safety technology. The Relations Group worked with PROTEQT to tackle this by leveraging interviews, competitions, and commissioned research to raise awareness of their concussion management system. Our campaign highlighted how PROTEQT empowers athletes and parents with real-time head impact data, previously only available at the elite level, while showcasing its ease of use, affordability, and integration into training and competition. In addition, we spotlighted local contact sports clubs and coaches, reinforcing community engagement and practical adoption. Featuring spokespeople Matt Price, Head Coach at Kenilworth Rugby Club and former professional rugby player, and Nathan Howarth, Executive Director of the Concussion Legacy Foundation UK, the campaign positioned PROTEQT as the trusted, data-driven solution for safer play and long-term brain health.
