With growing pressure on NHS capacity and widespread public misunderstanding around what treatment can safely be delivered outside of hospital settings, the Relations Group partnered with Sciensus to raise awareness of connected care delivered at home. Using research showing that 88% of the public are unaware chemotherapy can be administered at home, we created timely, regionally relevant broadcast stories that challenged outdated perceptions of healthcare delivery and highlighted the benefits of community-based treatment. The campaign positioned Sciensus as a trusted NHS ally and a leader in connected care, demonstrating how at-home treatment can free up hospital capacity, improve patient adherence, and help people with long-term conditions continue living more normal, independent lives. By focusing on accessibility, flexibility and reduced disruption to work, education and family life, we reinforced Sciensus’s role in helping build an NHS fit for the future while breaking down barriers to care for patients across the UK.
