With millions of tonnes of edible food wasted each year in the UK, we worked with The Community Fridge Network to elevate awareness of the urgent need for sustainable food redistribution. We used Food Waste Action Week as a timely opportunity to spotlight the Network’s role in tackling waste, strengthening communities, and reducing environmental harm. By securing media coverage, interviews, and public engagement, we encouraged individuals to get involved—through donations, volunteering, or spreading the word—while highlighting the importance of new partnerships to sustain and grow the initiative beyond 2025.
